Inclusive Art - Charitable Objects
1. Improving education in art-related subjects where previously no – or no appropriate- opportunities existed by:-
a) Providing inclusive art and craft workshops and related social activities in local accessible venues for adults of all ages
b) Promoting art and education in the visual arts by establishing and maintaining an accessible art gallery and through exhibitions and events.
c) Promoting equal opportunities and social inclusion by encouraging galleries, museums and businesses to adapt their services to be generally more accessible and welcoming for particular communities;
2. The relief of those in need in particular through visual arts and crafts by :-
a) providing facilities for social, recreation or leisure time occupation for individuals needing such facilities by reason of age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social disadvantage with the object of improving their health and wellbeing, both mental and physical.
b) Providing opportunities for people to express their thoughts and feelings using the creative arts.
3. The promotion of social inclusion amongst adults, the elderly and/or disabled persons who are excluded from society because they are house-bound, or who are unable to drive or easily access public transport by :-
a) Providing social opportunities, outings and trips to museums and galleries, including transport to and from home;
b) Linking with local network groups and volunteers providing information, advocacy and support.
4. Establishing, or securing the establishment of, an inclusive art centre or centres, Including maintaining, managing or co-operating with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of any such centres for activities promoted by GFI..
