Children's Therapy Services
GFI provides an assessment and treatment service for children and young people across London and the south east of England.
GFI uses a network of experienced Children's Therapists to provide specialist input tailored to your child’s specific needs - through therapy, treatment, fun, education and play. We support families, empowering them to help their children reach their maximum potential.
We have Therapists who specialise in a wide range of difficulties and conditions including:

GFI is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, and our services are of the highest standard. Our aim is to provide you and your child with the best and most suitable service or to signpost you to the right provision - even where that is not provided by us.

Going For Independence provides services to both indivdual children and to groups in a variety of settings including Sure Start services, schools and nurseries, mother and baby clubs, or for special needs groups and charities.
Developmental Play
One of our development specialists will provide a developmental play session exploring children’s development and understanding and promoting developmental play.
This is a programme aimed at all children - not just those with specific needs. Each session is tailored to the requirements of the group regarding ages and any special requirements.

Fee arrangements for treatments and developmental sessions are discussed at the initial consultation/ assessment.
Depending on the type of work and the specific facts of the child's (or group's) needs, fees will be worked out charged on an hourly fixed rate basis.
Our organisation will ensure that the fees charged are fair and reasonable. These services can be accessed by individuals and organisations including charities, local authorities and Health Trusts.
